Before You Start
Coordinate pricing changes with the operations team. Markup and constant changes can affect customer-facing prices and reports.
Manage Global Markup
- Open Setup.
- Select Markups.
- Review the global default formula.
- Update the formula if your team changes default pricing.
- Save the global formula.
- Review pricing results before making new inventory available to customers.
Manage Farm-Specific Markups
- Open Markups.
- Choose the farm-specific markup area.
- Create a markup or open an existing markup.
- Enter the formula or values your team agreed to use.
- Assign farms to the markup.
- Save changes.
- Review markup history after saving.
Farm-specific markups override the global default for assigned farms.
When A Formula Cannot Produce A Price
If a formula cannot produce a valid price for a row, that row is reported as a pricing error instead of being published with an incorrect price. This happens when a formula refers to a name that is not one of your variables or constants, or when the calculation has no usable result.
- Open Setup, then the error management view, to see the affected rows.
- Review the formula on the global markup or on the farm-specific markup that applies.
- Correct the formula and save it.
- Upload the affected inventory again.
Manage Constants And Constant Types
- Open Markups.
- Choose Constants.
- Add, edit, enable, or disable constants.
- Choose Constant Types to define the kinds of constants your team uses.
- Assign any unassigned constants before expecting them to affect pricing.
- Review constant history when you need to understand a change.
Review Pricing History
- Open Markups or History from Setup.
- Choose the pricing history view.
- Filter by farm, date, or change type.
- Review who changed pricing and when.
- Use the history when answering pricing questions.
