Documentation Overview

In this article, you will learn how the Documentation is organized and where to start for each common task in Floral Stock.

Before You Start​

Sign in to Floral Stock with your normal account. The app menu changes based on your access, but this Documentation is organized by task so you can quickly find the guide for the screen you are using.

Choose A Module​

  1. Open Getting Started when you need account, profile, menu, notification, cart, customer workspace, farm workspace, admin workspace, or super admin workspace help.
  2. Open Shopping when you need to find products, filter availability, add items to the cart, or place a customer order.
  3. Open Orders when you need to review order lists, open order details, create an order for a customer, confirm, reject, modify, export, or retry notifications.
  4. Open Standing Orders when you need recurring weekly requests, pricing approval, exceptions, or cancellation guidance.
  5. Open Inventory when you need to review availability, assign arrival dates, edit rows, export reports, review upload history, or resolve import errors.
  6. Open Data Entry when you need to upload availability files or enter availability manually.
  7. Open Setup when you need farms, origins, products, images, markups, settings, users, organizations, or notification recipients.

How Dates And Times Are Shown​

Floral Stock shows every trading date in the Eastern time zone, no matter where you or your browser are located. This applies across the app: arrival dates, upload dates, order dates, and pricing effective dates.

  1. Read every date as MM/DD/YYYY. The order of the day and month does not change with your browser language.
  2. Read a business date as the Eastern trading day. A colleague on the West Coast or in Europe sees the same date on the same row as you do.
  3. Read times as Eastern as well, labelled with the current Eastern abbreviation (EST or EDT).

This keeps one order, one arrival, and one price on the same calendar day for everyone working on it, so a late-evening upload is never filed under two different dates by two different people.

Choosing a date yourself — in a date picker or an arrival-date field — works on the calendar day you select. The picker shows exactly the day you clicked.

Use Documentation From Inside Floral Stock​

  1. Open the Floral Stock page where you are working.
  2. Select View Documentation in the header.
  3. Read the guide in the side panel.
  4. Select Open full Documentation when you want the article in a separate browser tab.

What Happens Next​

Use the article steps while you work in the app. If the article does not match what you see, confirm you are signed in with the correct account and organization.
